Whitton Comedy Corner

About

This will be a night full of laugh-out-loud moments as the UK's finest comedians take to the stage at Whitton Comedy Corner! Entertaining you will be stars of TV, radio and social media...

Otiz Cannelloni - "Master of Mirth and Minimalist Magic …Delightful." - Timeout Otiz Cannelloni combines the illusion of magic and the wit of stand up to produce a hybrid comic creation. With a mind more suited to testing crash helmets, his performance fluctuates between sheer genius and downright stupidity. Just when you suspect he doesn't have a clue, Cannelloni removes all doubt.

Joe Jacobs - "The Stormzy of Stand up" – Chortle Joe Jacobs is a comedian, rapper and writer. His live shows effortlessly flit between hip hop and comedy and he's been seen/heard on Channel 4, BBC Radio 4, BBC 6 Music, Radio 1XTRA, plus gained millions of viral video views online. On the live circuit, he's a regular at The Comedy Store, Top Secret, Glee, The Bearcat, Up The Creek, Backyard Comedy Club, Covent Garden Comedy Club, Knock2Bag, Downstairs At The Kings Head, Banana Cabaret, The Distraction Club and many others.

Andrew Bird - "Birdie supported me on my arena tour and made me laugh every night. Truly an excellent comedian" – Michael McIntyre Andrew appeared on "The Russell Howard Hour" and supported Russell on tour including Bristol's Ashton Gate Football stadium and six shows at The London Palladium. He's also supported Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon, America's Brian Regan and Michelle Wolfe on their only London shows and Michael McIntyre on an entire arena tour including Wembley and the O2. He's written on the TV shows Jon Richardson's Ultimate Worrier and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Andrew is one of only seven comedians to perform for Banksy at Dismal Land.

And your MC for the night, the returning... Josephine Lacey - "A comedy bombshell" – BBC Josephine Lacey first came onto the London comedy circuit in October 2008. Drawing on her Jamaican Irish heritage and life experience she delivers her material with an honest humour and a natural raw energy with the guile and wisdom of someone that has been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, delivering her material with an effortless charm and huge smile that leaves audiences loving her and wanting more. 2024 saw Josephine selling out her debut solo show 'Autism Mama' at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and at the fabulous Soho Theatre, London, gaining rave 5 STAR reviews at both venues.
