People playing bowls

About

This course will take place at Hampton Bowling Club, Carlisle Park, Wensleydale Road, Hampton, TW12. Advance booking is essential.

Attendees do not need to bring anything as the club provides all the equipment including bowls. Attendees will need to wear flat soled trainer/shoes. We would also suggest comfortable clothing that you can bend in. This course is aimed at beginners but you will need to be reasonably flexible as there is a lot of bending!

As well as teaching the basics of bowls play and etiquette, we aim to make it fun and to introduce you to the friendly, inclusive Hampton Bowling club.

On completion of the 6 week course, Hampton Bowling Club will provide each person with a personalised certificate.

This course is aimed at people over the age of 55 living in the borough of Richmond upon Thames.
