Bold and Beautiful

About

Liz paints mainly in acrylics and her most recent work has been inspired by her visit to New Zealand. Her use of mark making, texture and bold colours has led to beautiful semi abstract paintings. A second series of paintings has featured buildings in London where Liz has again used bold colours and experimented with perspective to produce unusual paintings of iconic landmarks.

Louise uses a range of approaches to image making, taking the relationship between sea and land as her starting point.

Louise is known for her original thumbprint paintings - made up of small images that connect to each other to form one larger picture. Most recently her pictures have featured in exhibitions by the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and the mixed media contest exhibition at the Menier Gallery in London.

Joanna is a glass artist who specialises in casting techniques, moulding textures from nature to create vibrant decorative and functional glass. Her practice is informed by a previous career in landscape design.
