a surrealist image advertising a craft event

About

Using a mix of magazines, stickers and a treasure trove of papers, you'll create a one-of-a-kind wooden collage.
Because you deserve more than "Live, Laugh, Love."
Collage, but not as you know it.
Punk Surrealist Collage is about breaking things apart to create something more honest. There are no rules. Instinct leads, structure softens, and meaning emerges in unexpected ways. Think dream logic meets rebellion — fragments, bold colour, unexpected combinations — a glimpse inside the mind, mid-thought.
What to expect:
We're tearing things up (literally) for a night of alt-art and expressive making.
Using a mix of magazines, beer labels and a treasure trove of papers, textures, pom-poms, feathers, found images, and dry-humour phrases — you'll create a one-of-a-kind wooden collage that feels entirely your own.
No rules. No perfect outcome. Keep it or gift it, it's up to you.
Your £35 ticket includes:
• A beer from the Brewery Market taps or can from the fridges
• A cheese board to fuel your creativity
• A full creative kit: board, materials, glue, and our signature phrase bank
• Guidance on how to layer, "vandalise" and compose like a pro
Come with a plan, or let the scissors lead. No artistic experience needed.
You're warmly encouraged to bring along anything personal you'd like to include — a photo, a fabric clipping, a leaf, or a small piece of something meaningful (or completely random). The more you, the better.
Date: 21st May
Time: Two sessions available starting at 6:30pm or 7:30pm
Location: Brewery Market, Church Street, Twickenham
