Dragonfly Courtyard Adventures

About

Pip Pondskimmer has flown in from the wetlands and is ready to recruit young dragonflies for a summer of fun.

Throughout the festival, Pip will be bringing the courtyard to life with a changing programme of interactive activities, storytelling, movement games, bubble play, discovery challenges and dragonfly-inspired circus performances. Families can drop in throughout the day to join the fun, meet Pip and become part of the adventure.

Activities include:

  • Flight School – Learn to hover, dart, glide and land like a dragonfly through playful movement games.
  • Pond Bubbles – Chase, catch and pop shimmering giant bubbles inspired by the sparkling wetlands.
  • Dragonfly Spotter Challenge – Test your observation skills and become a fully fledged Dragonfly Spotter.
  • Story Chest Sessions – Discover dragonfly tales, mystery objects and stories created by children and families.
  • Circus Flights – Enjoy beautiful dragonfly-inspired performances featuring aerial skills, hoops, scarves and movement.
