Cyanotypes drying on a string.

About

Join Ecologist Connor Butler for a fun, hands-on cyanotype printmaking workshop created especially for families.

Using sunlight and real plants, you'll make magical blue-and-white prints to take home. Cyanotype is one of the earliest forms of photography, and in this session children and grown-ups will work side by side to create bold botanical artworks together.

As you design your prints, you'll discover amazing facts about the plants you're using, how they grow, how they survive, and the surprising ways they interact with the world around them. Expect creativity, curiosity, and plenty of experimentation as you play with shapes, patterns, and natural textures.

This welcoming and lively workshop is perfect for families who love making, exploring, and learning together.

No experience needed, just bring your imagination and be ready to get creative with nature!
