Henry Moore Monumental Nature

About

From spring 2026, experience the awe-inspiring scale and beauty of Henry Moore's sculptures in the stunning landscape of Kew Gardens.

Henry Moore: Monumental Nature is the largest outdoor exhibition of Moore's work ever presented, featuring over 100 pieces including 30 monumental sculptures set throughout the Gardens, alongside over 70 works on paper, models, and smaller pieces displayed in the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art.

Discover how nature shaped the imagination of one of Britain's greatest sculptors - from the curves of bones and stones to the quiet power of the landscape. Wander through sweeping vistas punctuated by Moore's iconic forms and gain a deeper understanding of his creative process and lifelong connection to the natural world.

Two exhibitions, one landmark celebration of Henry Moore

This exhibition at Kew is part of a dual-site celebration across the Royal Botanic Gardens, with a second, separate experience at Wakehurst, Kew's wild botanic garden in Sussex.

While Kew focuses on Moore's monumental legacy, Wakehurst presents a more intimate encounter with his work. Paired with contemporary commissions co-curated by the Henry Moore Institute, these new pieces continue Moore's legacy exploring sculpture in dialogue with nature. See Henry Moore and more for further information.

Organised with the Henry Moore Foundation.
