The Musical Museum

About

Join Richard Hills, our Resident Organist, in a celebration of music at the Wurlitzer from the two decades since the organ has been entertaining visitors at the new Musical Museum. Richard was a performer at the reopening concert in the Museum in 2008 and will play favourite pieces and share his memories of the years.

Richard Hills is a renowned organist embracing both the classical and theatre organ and is much in the demand for concerts. He made his solo debut at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in 2013 and returned in 2019, playing a solo recital at The Royal Festival Hall in the same year. He has recently performed across the UK, Europe and in cities in the USA.

Tickets: £10.00

The River View café will be open for light lunches and refreshments before the concert and during the interval from 11am to 2.30pm.

Members offer – a free cup of tea or filter coffee.

A second concert in the series will take place on Thursday, 11th June.
