About

21 June - 22 September

Join us for 'Black Darter: A Dragonfly Safari', a new exhibition by renowned wildlife and landscape photographer Andrew Fusek Peters

For eight years, photographer Andrew Fusek Peters has been trailing the Black Darter dragonfly across the upland habitat of the Long Mynd, Shropshire. Photographing the Black Darter from dawn through to dusk, Andrew captures the intricate detail of this endangered dragonfly, drenched in dew or silhouetted by sunlight.

Andrew Fusek Peters is a wildlife and landscape photographer, who has been photographing wildlife across Shropshire and the UK for the last 13 years. His work regularly appears in the national media and he was awarded Highly Commended in the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2025 for his photograph of a black darter dragonfly under the Milky Way.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 21 June to 22 September 2025, and is included with admission.
