The Manfreds with special guest Noel McCalla

About

The Manfreds, featuring Paul Jones, Mike d’Abo and Tom McGuinness, are bringing their highly acclaimed Maximum Rhythm and Blues show to Hampton Pool.

Their repertoire of hits includes their number one iconic songs ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy’, ‘Pretty Flamingo’ and ‘The Mighty Quinn’, plus numerous more top 10 hits of the 60s. Paul Jones and Mike d’Abo also enjoyed solo success and Tom McGuinness was part of the hugely successful group, McGuinness Flint.

For this date, joining The Manfreds during their two-set performance, will be their very special guest – the fabulous Noel McCalla. Amongst Noel’s impressive CV is “lead singer with Manfred Mann’s Earth Band from 1991 until 2009”, which means he brings great songs such as ‘Blinded By The Light’ and ‘Davy’s On The Road Again’ into the set list, plus his own unique blend of soul/jazz/blues inspired material. Noel was described as “One of Britain’s best soul singers” by Blues & Soul magazine and the band feel very privileged to have him on board.

This is a unique line-up not to be missed.
