The Nash Sessions: Tailleferre Ensemble

About

Enjoy an enchanting candlelit concert in the Nash Conservatory at Kew Gardens – a magical setting for a summer soirée with family and friends.

Join the acclaimed Tailleferre Ensemble, a UK-based chamber collective dedicated to showcasing diverse instrumentation and celebrating underrepresented composers, both historical and contemporary. Known for their expressive performances and imaginative programming, the ensemble brings a fresh voice to the classical music scene.

Their 2023 debut album There are Things to be Said was hailed by critics for its ‘superb musicianship’ and ‘effortless’ performance. With broadcasts across Europe and Canada and a developing partnership with BBC Radio 3, the ensemble are proud to collaborate with numerous contemporary composers such as Ingrid Stölzel, Rhian Samuel, Sally Wave, Jonathan Heeley, and Dana Joras.

Artists in Residence at St. John’s Church, Notting Hill, the Tailleferre Ensemble invites you to an evening of music in one of London’s most atmospheric settings.

The bar opens at 6.30pm with the performance beginning at 7.30pm, lasting approximately 90 minutes, inclusive of a short interval.
