Instructor carving wax for a ring

About

Join talented jewellery makers Cunliffe and Fu for a fun and relaxing evening creating the cast for a beautiful, unique silver ring.

You'll be shown how to carve your design into jewellers wax, which will then be taken away to be cast into silver in London's famous Hatton Gardens and then hand finished and polished by Laura and Sue to your requirements. Your ring will then be posted back to you in a beautifully packaged gift box.

During the class, you'll learn about the lost wax casting process and explore techniques for creating effects and textures using simple tools.

No previous experience is needed at all, as you'll be guided through the process from start to finish. As this is a beginners' level class, you'll be making a smaller ring and adding textures, rather than one of the large bands.

All materials, use of tools and a glass of wine, soft drink or tea and coffee are included in the workshop price.
