Discover London's most attractive borough

Inspiration

  1. AirSwimming
Set in 1920s England, Airswimming is based on the true story of two women (Miss Kitson and Miss Baker), imprisoned in a hospital for the "criminally insane" for having borne illegitimate children. Forgotten by their families and not released until the 1970's, Dora and Persephone adopt alter-egos, Dorph and Porph, to enact their fantasies and survive the silence of incarceration. By turns very funny and moving, Airswimming reminds us of these otherwise forgotten women. Please see website: https://www.hamptonhilltheatre.org.uk/production/airswimming for times and prices

  4. cartoon blue electric guitar on a red background
Our very first live music night at the Jawbone taproom features the legends that are Soul.Blues. Made up of three blues and soul musicians, the group includes: Adam Bentley, London's very own Fiji Bluesman (and part of the Sydney Blues Mafia); Sam Kelly who won UK blues drummer of the year five years running (and has played with legends Dr John, Robert Plant and Gary Moore); and Richard Sadler, the hardest working live bass player in London, who has played with the Kinks' Ray Davies, Paul Weller and Tom Jones. Expect an intimate, but powerhouse performance, buzzing electric guitar, and raw vocals, all while you sip on some excellent craft beer.
