Box Walks | Nature-based walk from Richmond to Twickenham

About

alk, play and supercharge your environmental efforts

Join us for a relaxed stroll along the Thames river and through some of the greenest parts of Richmond and Twickenham. It's a great chance to stretch your legs, enjoy fresh air, and make new friends.

We are championing Zero Emissions Day on 21 September on this walk and will be considering how we can reduce our carbon emissions at home. We will be visiting 6 of our phone boxes on the walk:

1. Bertie, the biodiversity box

2. Sophie, the sustainable food box

3. Ted, Climate hope box

4. Polly, the pollinator box

5. Ralph, resource circularity box

6. Cara, the climate change box.

We will meet up and start the walk at Bertie just outside the Prince’s Head pub on Richmond Green. Just look for the two red phone boxes and you’ll find us. Dogs, prams and children are welcome. We walk at a slow pace so people can chat, take in the scenery and enjoy the interactive content on the Box Walks app.

Bring your friends or make new ones while soaking up the riverside vibes. Let’s walk, chat, and make a difference together.
