Dick & Vic - The Lost Meeting Between Charles Dickens and Queen Victoria Tama Matheson

About

Writer and Director Tama Matheson (The White mouse, The Vistation, Passions: The Life of J.S Bach) returns with Dick & Vic.

For over 20 years, Queen Victoria pressed Charles Dickens for a royal audience.

For over 20 years Dickens refused.

Finally, in the last year of his life, Dickens accepted the invitation, and the Queen met her literary idol.

It was the only time they would ever meet.

We know very little of what occurred during this meeting – at most, a few of the subjects they discussed.

Naturally, this provides scope for speculation.

Dick and Vic makes that speculation.

This is the story of what DIDN'T happen at that meeting – but should have! A sparkling encounter between a truly odd couple!
