GP-Led Healthy Eating & Cooking Programme
Want to improve your health through food but aren't sure where to start?

Join our free 5-week nutrition and healthy cooking programme, designed to help you make informed food choices, build confidence in the kitchen, and develop sustainable habits that support long-term wellbeing.

Delivered by healthcare professionals at the Nutrition Lab, St Mary's University, this interactive programme combines evidence-based nutrition education with hands-on cooking sessions. You'll learn practical skills that can be applied immediately at home while preparing and tasting simple, healthy recipes each week.

Whether you're looking to manage your weight, reduce your risk of chronic disease, or simply feel healthier and more energised, this course will give you the knowledge, skills, and support to get started.

Who is this course for?
Adults aged 18+ who would like to improve their understanding of nutrition and healthy eating.

The programme may be particularly beneficial for those interested in:

• Weight management

• Pre-diabetes or Type 2 diabetes

• Improving general health and wellbeing

• Learning practical cooking skills

• Building confidence in making healthier food choices

Cost
The programme is free to attend thanks to funding from the National Lottery.

A refundable £10 deposit is required to secure your place. This will be returned upon completion of the programme and attendance at all sessions.
