About
This Clean Air Day (Thurs 19 June 2025), visitors who travel to Kew Gardens in Southwest London by bike will receive a 50% discount on entry to the UNESCO World Heritage Site for the day.
The national Clean Air Day scheme aims to spread information about air pollution and make the air cleaner and healthier for everyone. In the UK, cars and vans are the biggest source of greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to climate change, so making a simple switch to cycling can help towards reducing air pollution.
Visitors to Kew Gardens simply need to show their bike helmet or a photo with their bike taken at the entry gates to claim the discount. Once inside, visitors can explore Kew’s incredible living plant collections on foot, which feature some of the world's most rare and endangered plants. Discover unique tropical plants in the rainforest of the Palm House, wander around the Temperate House, the world’s largest surviving Victorian glasshouse, and travel through 10 climatic zones in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, or simply enjoy relaxing in nature in Kew’s 320 acres.
