Tutor Bio:
Olu Oke is a London-based storyteller, illustrator, printmaker and educator whose work explores character, narrative and lived experience through image-making and print. Working across illustration, zine-making and print processes including lino cutting and letterpress, her practice is shaped by a love of storytelling and the expressive possibilities of drawing by hand.
Alongside her creative practice, Olu facilitates workshops that encourage experimentation, play and personal expression through making. Her work is informed by her experience as a children's librarian and by a commitment to creating stories and creative spaces where people feel represented and connected. Through teaching, she encourages participants to explore visual storytelling, character and narrative in accessible and supportive ways.
