Melbury Music Double bill with special guests Jasmine Lee Spicer & Jennifer Yard

About

Sunday Lunchtime Melbury Music Double Bill Featuring Top Vocalists Jasmine Lee Spicer & Jennifer Yard:

Jasmine Lee Spicer is a highly creative, experienced jazz vocalist and storyteller, who delights audiences with her lyrical, entrancing vocals.

Jennifer Yard’s expressive, intense singing style reflects her love of musical theatre as well as the jazz idiom. Expect some well-known jazz/pop/funk/soul/musical theatre numbers as well as some American Songbook tunes.

Also featured is Stuart Ashton on sax, a fluent improviser producing a wonderfully warm tone. The wonderfully inventive bassist Andy Richardson is equally at home in funk, pop and soul as he is in jazz, and the rhythm section is completed by regular Melbury Music musicians Martin Bazley on piano and Steve Butcher on drums. With a wonderful vocalist in each set this will be a hugely enjoyable afternoon!

Melbury Music create a relaxed, feelgood experience, with the emphasis on enjoyment. We are looking forward to a lovely afternoon’s entertainment.
