Movement Lab at Orange Tree Theatre

Calling all curious performers

We have a few spaces left on our Movement Lab course! Whether you're brand new or looking to sharpen your craft, this 5-week course is your chance to:

✨ Build performance skills
✨ Use movement to unlock character and convey narrative
✨ Learn a variety of movement techniques- developing your skills individually & part of an ensemble.

Led by experienced Movement Director Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster (RSC, The Globe, Old Vic)- this is theatre training that meets you where you are — open to anyone aged 18+, no experience needed!

Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster is an international contemporary dance theatre choreographer, movement director, and educator based in East London. As a founder of the award-winning C-12 Dance Theatre, she has created, performed, and toured across the UK, Europe, and Australia, bringing stories to life through powerful and inclusive movement.

With a career spanning choreography, rehearsal direction, teaching, and mentoring, Annie-Lunnette has led workshops and creative projects in diverse settings—from schools and universities to community spaces and professional stages—engaging participants from toddlers to older adults.

Driven by a deep passion for dance as a universal language, Annie-Lunnette is dedicated to making movement accessible, meaningful, and transformative. Her work empowers individuals to explore their creativity, express themselves, and discover the joy of physical movement.

️ The Course costs £115 and there are bursary spots available. All Participants will receive a ticket to a Main House production.
