Opera Bites Barnes

About

Join Opera Prelude at St Mary's, Barnes this autumn and experience the life-enriching joy of live opera. Whether new to the art form or a complete aficionado, our intimate recitals combine sublime music and eye-opening discussion to showcase opera like never before.

Each 'OperaBites' concert is a bitesize hour long: there is no need to attend the entire series - each session is self-contained and bookable individually. They are warm, welcoming, and designed to open up the world of opera.

Opera Prelude is a charity which supports the next generation of opera talent, tirelessly helping the most talented singers and musicians forge careers in what can be the precarious world of the arts. We also support our audiences in not only learning more about opera, but finding real connection with the music, the artists and each other.

This occasion sees Sam Young, the lyrical baritone, take us on a journey from the elegance of Mozart to the passion of Puccini. With pianist Francesca Lauri.
