Transform how you see everyday objects and learn to capture them in watercolour. In this weekly course, you'll explore still life painting through observation, composition, and colour- building confidence step by step.
Working from simple arrangements to more detailed compositions, you'll develop essential techniques and discover how to layer colour, control water, and bring depth and atmosphere to your paintings.

What you'll explore:
Week 1: Introduction to Materials & Watercolour Basics – Understanding brushes, paper, and paint behaviour
Week 2: Observational Drawing & Composition – Selecting objects, light, and perspective
Week 3: Colour Mixing & Layering – Building tone, harmony, and depth
Week 4: Core Watercolour Techniques – Wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and lifting methods
Week 5: Developing Complex Still Life – Combining drawing and painting skills
Week 6: Refinement & Personal Style – Creating more confident, expressive compositions
