Writer/director Tama Matheson and author Dr Kate Vigurs discuss Nancy Wake, one of the Allies’ most formidable spies during World War II.  Nicknamed ‘the white mouse’ for her ability to evade capture; Nancy was brave, rebellious and on the Gestapo’s most wanted list.  Dr Kate Vigurs is the author of Mission Europe – a fascinating account of the women who – like Nancy Wake – were recruited by the Special Operations Executive to ‘set Europe ablaze.’ Marking the 80^th Anniversary of VE Day this year, Tama and Kate honour the women who resisted and disrupted the occupation of Europe.
