The Tacover Taco and Tequila Festival

About

The Tacover Taco and Tequila Festival comes to Richmond Athletic Ground for the first time ever where there will be 12 of the UK's best Taco Traders along with 8 dedicated Tequila and Margarita Bars serving everything from Frozen & Spicy Margaritas, to Micheladas, Lageritas, Mezcal, Paloma's and more. Tacos will be sold at £4 each and every trader will provide 3 options including one Vegan option.

Traders even include the one of the UK’s most viral street food traders of the year, CDMX Tacos.

There will be competitions for the best Margarita & Best Cocktail bar along with many of The Tacover’s OG awards. You, the public will get to vote for your winners along with the judges, which takes place on Friday. Judges will include representatives from the likes of Tajin, Jarritos and even the Mexican embassy.

Cocktail phenomenon, Mixology With Olly, will be hosting the main margarita bar, serving up their signature margs, largeritas, spicy (and non spicy) tequila shots and a special Tacover Turbo Tequila cocktail designed especially for the weekend.

There will be DJs and entertainment all day including games on stage like the notorious Tortilla Slap Championship, Hot Taco Challenge and No Hands Eating Contest.

All guests will receive a free Tacover branded cup, a free taco eating bib and gifts/tasters from our partner brands and sponsors.
