Join us for our popular annual festive event with the world-renowned illustrator of The Gruffalo, Axel Scheffler!

Enjoy a magical morning filled with::

-Storytelling from Axel and Alison Green's new book Welcome – a joyful tale celebrating friendship and togetherness – alongside cherished classics The Snail and the Whale and The Gruffalo's Child

-Live drawing and question-and-answer session with Axel Scheffler

-Book signing

-Pop-up shop offering books, cards and other thoughtful gifts, ideal for Christmas shopping

All activities take place in a welcoming and inspiring setting designed to foster a love of books and creativity in young audiences.

Date: Saturday 29 November
Location: St Stephen's Church, Twickenham
Show times: 9.30am and 11.45am (40-minute performance, followed by book signing)
