Wetland Wellbeing Workshop - Wet Felted Wool Bookmark

About

Discover the importance of conservation grazing while creating your own beautiful wet felted wool bookmark.

29 August

Spend a relaxing hour immersed in nature at our beautiful wetland centre. In this guided workshop, you'll discover how conservation grazing helps us care for our wetlands and learn about the important role our resident sheep play in maintaining these special habitats.

Using wool sheared from our conservation grazing flock, you'll then create your own unique bookmark using a traditional wet-felting technique. As you craft, you'll explore how the wetlands influence the quality and characteristics of the wool, creating a special keepsake with a direct connection to the landscape.

No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to get creative.
