Details

Autumn is a time of great transformations on our reserve.

Flocks of over-wintering wildfowl begin to arrive and passage migrants continue to drop in on their way to warmer climes. As the leaves fall from the trees, we’ll see fungi sprouting up in the hedgerows and woodland.

This is a great opportunity to come and experience the changing of the seasons with one of our naturalists and to learn more about how we manage the reserve ahead of winter as well as keeping an eye out for some of our seasonal wildlife.
