Canadian violinist Guillaume Tardif and Turkish pianist and musicologist Mine Doğantan -Dack join forces for a concert that includes Beethoven's beloved Spring and Kreutzer sonatas, and Chopin's heroic "Introduction and Polonaise". Guillaume Tardif (DMA, Eastman School; DESM2, Quebec Conservatoire) frequently performs, teaches, records, arranges, composes, researches, writes and publishes about music. He is a professor and area coordinator at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Mine Doğantan-Dack is a concert pianist and a musicologist (MMus, The Juilliard School; PhD, Columbia University). She performs as a soloist and chamber musician, and has given concerts in USA, UK, Germany, France and Turkey. She recorded the music of JS Bach and Scriabin for WNCN. Mine has published several books and many articles on music performance and currently teaches performance studies at the Faculty of Music, University of Cambridge.
