This performance will feature music and poetry from the 'Arcadian' (Georgian) period when landscapes and houses were made to fit in around this stretch of the Thames and to suit classical ideals.

It will form part of the Thames Festival and will include parts of Handel's 'Water Music', Charles Dibdin's 'The Jolly Young Watermen', and poetry written on natural themes by Pope and contemporary writers.
