Join us in creating a charming and beautiful card to celebrate the arrival of spring. Design a special card for Mother’s Day or a birthday, spreading warmth and joy to those around you. In this class, you will craft two cards featuring a delicate wreath and a silk-shaded flower. You will learn various techniques to achieve stunning colour coordination and designs and experience the joy of embroidery.

In this class, you’ll learn how to add gold thread to an easy basic Silk Shading technique, as well as simple Ribbon embroidery and essential Surface Stitches to embellish your cards. You’ll also learn how to attach your embroidery to the two cards that come with the kit. The stitches you will master include the Ribbon Work, Stem Stitch, French Knot, Buttonhole Circle, Detached Chain, and Bead stitching.
