People around long tables in the gallery, making and talking

About

Take a closer look at art together at this fun and interactive family session inspired by Ronald Moody: Sculpting Life. Families are invited to gather around a selected artwork from the exhibition and explore it through conversation, curiosity and imagination.

Led by a member of the gallery team, this friendly discussion encourages children and adults to share their thoughts, ideas and observations. There are no right or wrong answers. Questions and prompts support participants to look carefully, think creatively and build confidence in talking about art.

How does the artwork make you feel? What do you notice first? Does it remind you of a person, place or story? By listening to each other's perspectives, families can discover new ways of seeing and interpreting artworks together.

This relaxed session is suitable for children and their parents/carers and offers an enjoyable way to engage with the exhibition, spark conversation and spend quality time together.
