PIONEERS: THE FIRST WOMEN'S RUGBY WORLD CUP explores the challenges faced by four women from Richmond FC who, supported by a wider team of volunteers, organised a World Cup tournament in little more than 12 months.
The exhibition features letters and documents that tell their story, as they worked to deliver the tournament with no endorsement from the IRB and no sponsors to provide funding. Also on display is the original women's World Cup trophy and match worn England and USA jerseys.
