Join The Barnes Choir for our Summer Concert as we present Verdi's dramatic and powerful Requiem.
We will be accompanied by a Chamber Ensemble including, horns, double bass, marimba, bass drum, timpani, and piano, as arranged by Michael Betzner-Brandt, and which has been specifically designed to allow Verdi's masterpiece to be presented in smaller performance spaces such as All Saints, while still capturing the essence and intensity of the original work.
Conducted by our Musical Director Julian Collings, and with soloists Elizabeth Findon (soprano), Judy Louie Brown (mezzo-soprano), Paul Hopwood (tenor) and Christopher Webb (bass) and our accompanist Elspeth Wilkes.
