The Poppy Factory - Visitor Centre

About

Take a break in the school summer holidays – join us on Tuesday 25 August for a fun family activity morning as part of our centenary celebrations in Richmond.

Bring your children and young people to explore our visitor centre in Richmond upon Thames and learn about The Poppy Factory's unique veteran community, our role in the Remembrance tradition and our work supporting today's Armed Forces families.

Our hosts and volunteers will be on hand from 10am to 12pm to guide young people around our interactive exhibition and answer questions. Follow our treasure hunt, make a poppy, get creative, see special video presentations and enjoy refreshments and delicious cakes.

Adult tickets cost £5 and each adult can bring up to two children free. Further children will be charged at £2 each (pay on the door). This event is suitable for children aged 7 and over (key stage 2) and children and young people must be supervised by a parent/carer at all times.

By taking part in our summer activity morning, you'll support our national Veteran and Family Services. Last year, our charity helped more than 1,200 members of the Armed Forces community to change their lives through employment.
