Traditional Irish music has travelled with the immigrants who have spread it worldwide for centuries. From Bundoran to Boston, Ballina to Beijing, Belfast to Barnes, folk songs, jigs, reels and airs have been a backdrop to the Irish experience. Join us An Bóthar Glas Abhaile, on the Green Road Home for a narrative musical journey with The Sessionists.

Philip Cashin is a singer and guitarist born and raised in Dublin. Coming from a musical family, it was natural he would carry on in their footsteps.

Alex Markham is multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer from the Lake District. He started coming to the ICC in 2017.

Ali Monaghan is a former classical violinist turned fiddle player, from New York who has studied with Michael Sweeney at the ICC since 2017.

David Kelly a guitarist, bodhran player, singer and occasional whistler who rediscovered Irish folk music through the ICC.
