Welcome and other tales with Axel Scheffler

About

Welcome is a joyful picture book about friendship and togetherness. Would you like to come inside this book? You’re very welcome. In fact, everyone is welcome here, whether you’re big or small, flappy or jumpy, noisy or quiet.
With its simple text and endearing animal characters, Welcome shows how everyone can be a good friend, and how we can all help others to feel welcome.

Axel will also be drawing his most famous characters, such as ‘The Snail and The Whale’ and ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’ so come along and inspire your little ones to love books and open up their world of imagination this Christmas. All drawings will be auctioned after the event.

These one-off events last approximately 40 minutes and will be followed by signing books, making it great opportunity to buy some unique Christmas gifts for children.

Please Note: Axel will only sign books bought at the event.
