We're thrilled to invite you to our second Writing Club Day Retreat on 26th April at Books on the Rise!

Spend a full day immersed in books, nourishing your creativity, dedicating time to your writing, and connecting with fellow writers. Whether you're working on a project, exploring new ideas, or simply want to dive into your words, this day is for you.

Bring: your laptop, notebook, project, ideas — or just your curiosity.

What the day includes:

· Dedicated writing time – focus on your project or explore new ideas

· Creative prompts & reflective journaling

· Long stretches of uninterrupted writing

· Connection with other writers – supportive, inspiring company

· Tips to nurture creativity & quiet your inner critic

Special Feature: Author Inspiration Hour ✨
A published author will join us towards the end of the day to share insights, tips, and stories to ignite your writing journey.

Sharing and feedback are optional — the day is yours to explore, create, and enjoy.

Host and facilitator for the day is author & journalist Karin Helledie, who also run our regular Mindful Writing sessions @urbanspotting
