Details
Richmond Theatre is a truly beautiful buidling with a well-deserved reputation for quality and entertainment. There are many ways to enjoy this very special and historic building, which was built in 1899 and designed by the famous theatre architect Frank Matcham.
Richmond Theatre works in partnership with The Richmond Theatre Trust Ltd, a registered charity which has responsibilities for fundraising to support the theatre's education and outreach work, and disabled access facilities. The Theatre receives no public subsidy for its day-to-day operation and relies on its self-generating income and the continuing valuable support of its sponsors, friends, patrons and grant-making trusts.
