Details
There are over 600 species of moss in the UK, some of which are endangered and they come in all shapes and sizes! They provide a vital role in ecosystems and indicators of habitat quality. Using microscopes and ID keys we will learn to accurately identify species using features.
Be inspired by nature around you. To take part in this course, you do not need to have any previous experience, or any expensive kit, just enthusiasm, an interest in the subject and a desire to learn. The days will be a mix of indoor and outdoor sessions, led by subject experts.
