From Tigers to Tesias - The Wildlife of Northern India - Andrew Cleave
This talk will take in several reserves, including Bharatpur, which, in the days of the British Empire, was an exclusive game reserve where tens of thousands of wildfowl were shot, but is now one of the world's top birding spots, fully protected and carefully managed. Home to a staggering variety of birds, it is also an ideal place to see monkeys, snakes, deer and other wildlife.
Andrew Cleave is a natural historian, tour-leader, lecturer, writer, wildlife photographer and founding director of the Bird Photographer of the Year Competition. Before retirement he taught and ran an environmental education centre and has been appointed MBE for services to Environmental Education.
