Hampton Pool Concert with Lightning Seeds and Cable Street Collective on Saturday 12 July

About

Come and see the Lightning Seeds and Cable Street Collective at the 2025 Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts.

More than 35 years after the first Lightning Seeds single, Ian Broudie's obsession with the perfect pop song is a matter of record: 'Pure', 'Lucky You', 'The Life Of Riley', 'Change', 'Perfect', 'You Showed Me' and 'Sugar Coated Iceberg' have long since become modern standards alongside the definitive football anthem 'Three Lions', whose four spells at number one have made it one of the 30 best-selling British singles of all time. With their televised 2023 Glastonbury set attracting one of the biggest crowds of the weekend on The Other Stage, Lightning Seeds are now one of the most rapturously received festival draws.

Cable Street Collective have been favourites on the festival circuit since the release of their first EP, 'The Best of Times' (2014) and have built a stellar reputation as a live band. Their upbeat rhythms, Congolese-influenced guitar sounds and soulful female vocals create an idiosyncratic alt-pop sound that's all their own and guaranteed to get everyone on their feet!

About the venue
Hampton Pool, often described as one of SW London's best-kept secrets, is a hidden gem nestled beside Bushy Park. This heated open-air oasis is centre stage for the legendary Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts.

Our concerts have a laid-back vibe as well as an unbeatable location. Dive in for a refreshing complimentary swim, gather with friends for a few drinks, a leisurely picnic, and let the music move you. Whether you're swaying to the rhythm or dancing like nobody's watching, there's no better way to spend a summer evening.
