EMILY SAUNDERS Hall Stage 7pm

★★★★ The Guardian, ★★★★ The Evening Standard, ★★★★ The Independent, ★★★★ The Arts Desk, ★★★★ Jazzwise
Emily's music is a creation of beauty, strength, and soul, with an honesty and openness that flows through her tracks. She is the composer, arranger, and producer of all her music. Her songs, lyrics, and voice serve as a soundtrack to life, she keeps you hooked from the first track. Every note is a reminder to reach for the sunshine, to live life with joy.

"A fascinating artist on stage. She's the Queen of Jazz Fusion, a real powerhouse!" (Jazz FM)

BINKER GOLDING Hall Stage 5pm

Get ready for a set of hard-hitting jazz from award-winning saxophonist and composer Binker Golding.

Expect a musical continuation of the sound-world set up on the previous Binker Golding album, Dream like a Dogwood Wild Boy. The music touches upon blues, heartland rock and Americana while firmly remaining jazz.

Binker won the Jazz FM Instrumentalist of the Year award in 2020 and the MOBO award for Best Jazz Act in 2015 with his band Binker and Moses. He is also known for working with a wide range of other acts, including Mr. Jukes, Zara McFarlane, Elliot Galvin and in a trio with John Edwards and Steve Noble.
