Barnes Children's Literature Festival main marquee is at the Judith Kerr Marquee – located at the London Wetlands Centre in Barnes. The address is Queen Elizabeth Walk, Barnes SW13 9WT. Directions are provided below.

Road Directions
The best way getting to Barnes is always going to be by public transport. Please see information below on how to travel to Barnes by public transport.
Public Transport Directions
Walking from Barnes Station
Barnes Pond is about a 10 minute walk from Barnes Station. Walk through Barnes Common along Station Road and the Pond will be on your right hand side.
Walking from Barnes Bridge Station
If you are walking from the station, walk along Terrace Gardens, then turn right on the High Street. Barnes Pond will be on your right hand side as you walk down High Street.
Bus to Barnes Pond
At Barnes Bridge station you can pick up the 209 bus which will bring you right to Barnes Pond.
Coming from Richmond or Twickenham? The 33 bus stops at the Red Lion pub on Rocks Lane and from there it’s about a five minute walk up Church Road to the Pond.
Getting to The Judith Kerr Marquee at the London Wetlands Centre
By Bus
Buses 33, 419 and 209 stop at the Red Lion pub on Castelnau about 100 metres walk from the Wetlands Centre.
The 485 bus from Hammersmith comes directly into the Centre. Please note that this is not a frequent service just twice an hour with no service on Sundays.
By Train
From Barnes station it is a 15 minute walk to the centre, or five minutes by bus.
You can also get off at Barnes Bridge station which is a 15 minute walk to the centre through Barnes village, or jump on the 209 bus.
Biking or Scooting
Cycling is a great way to get to Barnes and there are plenty of places to park your pushie or your scooter at the Wetlands, or outside the Old Sorting Office Arts Centre on Barnes Pond, SW13 0LF, opposite the Pond on the corner of Barnes High Street SW13 9LB and at Rose House SW13 9LD.
