About

Fundraising for charities is the aim of The Book Shop in Ashley Road, Hampton, as it has been for over 35 years. In 2010/2011 it raised over £5,000 which it shared between charities including; Teddington Hospital, Princess Alice Hospice, The Alzheimer’s Society and Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.

The shop is conveniently situated in the heart of the village outside Hampton station and is packed with a wide range of books. It is a little gem; on its shelves you will find a selection of novels, thrillers, historical fiction, the classics and lots of books for children.

Why not pay them a visit, who knows what treasures you could find?

The shop is entirely staffed by a team of friendly volunteers, mostly retired folk who give their time willingly for such good causes.
