About

Our Yaffles Nature Club happens on the 3rd Saturday of the month from October to May. The Club is for family groups of adults and young people, to develop their confidence and skills for outdoor exploration.

By attending Yaffles Club you and your young person will learn about the wildlife around us, how to recognise it, how it changes over the year, how we can protect it, and more. Yaffles aims to be an informal learning opportunity, allowing young people (and adults!) to develop a connection with nature and explore their passions in a fun and low-pressure environment. There will be games and challenges and plenty of fun!

Bring a drink and snack and we will have a break during the session, or bring lunch and stay and enjoy the play facilities at Vine Road Park afterwards.

Activities will vary by month and by season. Suitable for all ages of younger learners, this event will be entirely outdoors (weather permitting) so please dress appropriately for the weather and in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
